Our Engineering department develops, maintains, and enhances Sendinblue’s features and functionalities. Our engineers work on all technical aspects of the platform, both front- and back-end. Thanks to this department, we’re able to continue deepening and refining Sendinblue’s technical capabilities.

I have been a member of this organization since 2018 and it's been around more than 3 years now. The last 3 years were full of growth and opportunities for me as I joined initially as Senior Software Engineer and then with all the challenges coming in the way I stood up to give the best to the organization and in return the career growth provided to me was striking and now I am working as an Engineering Manager. As a manager I am working with a great team of around 24 talented people with different roles and containing my direct or indirect reportees as well. All these talented engineers bring up the experience of tech stack like PHP, React and Go. Over past 3 years I have seen great scope of learning here and having transparency in the processes brings more trust in the organization.

Development

Our Development team is responsible for developing all new features on the Sendinblue platform as well as monitoring key metrics related to product stability. They work closely with the Product team to deliver on clients’ needs and specifications. The team is composed of front- and back-end engineers and managers, working on Go, Nodejs, PHP, React, and Angular tech stacks.

Quality Assurance

Our Quality Assurance team is responsible for delivering and maintaining the quality standards of the Sendinblue product. They run a series of iterations on product features via manual and automated approaches, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the platform. The team consists of manual/automation QA engineers and managers.

Technical Support

Technical Support

Our Technical Support team is responsible for assessing issues raised by clients, usually those escalated by our Customer Care teams. The team replicates user issues and deep dives to understand the issue from a technical point of view and identify its root cause. The team carefully monitors all issues with the platform to look out for overarching patterns and to create troubleshooting documentation for our Customer Care teams. For these reasons, the Technical Support team also works closely with the Product department.

Architecture  & Infrastructure

Architecture & Infrastructure

Our Architecture team is responsible for designing, reviewing, and approving all design documents related to the platform. They work closely both with the Application and Infrastructure teams to map out our technical vision, plan for scalability, and assist with technology upgrades to meet our growing business requirements. Our Infrastructure team builds, maintains, and upgrades our software infrastructure so that it continues to support our growing business and products. The team oversees activities related to network, server, and database administration. Our infrastructure engineers plan, design, and implement system architectures to be scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and compliant.

Security

The Sendinblue Security team is responsible for data protection, security compliance, certification, vulnerability detection, and defining policies for device and data management. They aim to protect business applications by developing, implementing, and testing security systems that make all of Sendinblue more secure.

Productivity & Reliability

Productivity & Reliability

Our Productivity & Reliability team is split into two tribes: developer productivity and site reliability. The developer productivity tribe is responsible for identifying and problem-solving obstacles within our SDLC process to maximize efficiency before deploying features and to optimize the productivity of our developers. The site reliability tribe monitors and responds to all operation metrics relating to availability, latency, performance, and emergency response. The whole Productivity & Reliability team works closely with developers to coordinate around the product’s overall scalability.

Analytics (Data)

Analytics (Data)

The Data team is in charge of collecting, anonymizing, making available and exploiting the data produced by Sendinblue and our partners. The team is in charge of developing innovative projects using data such as detecting fraudulent accounts or predicting the best time to contact a marketing partner. We also support other teams in the analysis of activities using data.
