Job Description

Role
We’re looking for a Sales Engineer, who will contribute to delivering technical wins at customer accounts through engaging and communicating to prospects such as CEOs or sketching out an API flow on a whiteboard with customer software engineers.

Why?
Sales Engineers play a major role in Sendinblue’s sales organization and are critical to deal success. The Sendinblue product suite is built to enable companies to manage all of their communication needs through one central product and technology. Sales Engineers help customers achieve success by leading the technical and product sale, recommending best-practice solutions, and guiding them on how to use Sendinblue’s APIs.

Sendinblue customers often share common business challenges, but rarely share the same implementation requirements. Each company is unique when it comes to process, technology stacks, and skill. The Sendinblue Sales Engineer owns the technical sales process to help demonstrate the best way to use Sendinblue products to achieve (and often exceed) their goals.

*Responsibilities *
Lead technical pre-sales relationships
Build technical documentation
Anticipate concerns and offer creative solutions
Work with key clients during onboarding, helping to implement the project and answer initial technical questions during onboarding

Preferred Experience

  • 1 or 2 years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products
  • Hands-on, high-energy, passionate, and creative problem solver with know how to get things done and ability to lead others to success
  • Excellent communicator who is happy to work with and multiple teams at Sendinblue
  • Great presenter who is able to gain audience confidence
  • Ability to build a deep understanding of a customer’s communications needs and guide them to a technical solution
  • Previous technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP)
  • Web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks - React, Vue.js, Angular)
  • Experience building with REST APIs
  • Previous experience in the SaaS industries such as Email, CRM, Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security is a plus
