Job Description

The DevOps team (4 people in France, 4 in India) is responsible for building and maintening the whole infrastructure, scaling the platform and ensuring its stability and performance, as well as building the good practicies and the tools to ensure the fastest delivery, while maintening the highest quality standard. The DevOps work closely with the development teams to define the technical architecture and set up the processes: automated deployment, monitoring... That's a lot of work, which is why we are looking for a new team member.

Our platform is hybrid with 200 servers and ~150 cloud instances (GCP and AWS). On our premises, as well as on the public cloud, we use the latest cloud-based technologies (such as Kubernetes with GKE and Rancher, Envoy...). Don't say too loudly, but we still have some legacy which need to be migrated (Ansible playbooks...). We are always interested in trying new stuff to see what added value it has for us.

The platform in a few figures:

  • 100M: the number of emails delivered per day, (about 2TB of generated data)
  • 200M: the number of http requests received in 1 day
  • 300TB: the volume of data served (http) every month
  • 8k : the number of messages exchanged on the platform every second
  • 5: our points of presence in the world
  • 99.98% the uptime of our API over the last 6 months
  • Our platform is based on the latest open source technologies: MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Golang, Kubernetes...

Preferred Experience

Your profile:

  • Some significant experiences in scaling a high load platform
  • You hate to repeat two times the same task and would definitively automate it
  • The terminal is your best friend, but you enjoy to open your IDE time to time
  • You like human interactions, especially when it comes to explaining your job to people who work on something completely different
  • You enjoy working with people from other cultures (if you always dreamed of visiting India, you're at the right place - it's not mandatory however)
  • It's nice if you know one or more of the following technologies: NGINX, Envoy, HAProxy, MongoDB, Easticsearch, GCP, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher)... but in the end what we'll value the most is your personality.

Our benefits:

  • Great compensation package
  • Good work-life balance, occasional work from home, RTT
  • Tangible career development possibilities as we grow strong
  • Meal vouchers - LunchR (8,5 € per day) + canteen
  • Excellent private health care covered by 70% by the company
  • 50% Reimbursement of Navigo OR bicycle mileage reimbursement
  • Paternity leave/second parent leave: 1 month of leave fully paid
  • Annual company offsite & inter-office trip
  • English & French class
  • Free fruits & snacks, tea & coffee
  • Chilling area with ping-pong table & babyfoot
  • More than 100 activities you can do at work via our partner Yuco
