What you will do

SendinBlue Customer Care Representatives wear many hats. While their first responsibility is of course to offer direct support, primarily via email and telephone, there are many other elements to the job as well. As a member of the team, you will:

  • Work independently to master emailing best practices, as well as our platforms and the tools we offer customers
  • Test new offerings before they are released to the public
  • Develop familiarity with technical aspects of email marketing, such as DNS record creation/modification, email-friendly HTML, and the SendinBlue API
  • Engage customers and the general public on numerous platforms, such as social media and blogs
  • Create and revise both external and internal resources, such as our Help Center.
  • Work directly with members of other SendinBlue teams to refine our existing offerings and inject new ideas

What we are looking for

This position requires:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • First-language fluency in French
  • Strong fluency in English
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service
  • Familiarity with email marketing
  • Techinical aptitude, and ability to learn skills relating to DNS, HTML, and API use
  • The ability to jump right into a fun and relaxed office culture

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience working for a startup
  • Passion for and enjoyment of new technologies
  • A background in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Existing knowledge of HTML and use of API/webhooks

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process is composed of the following steps:

  1. Submission of résumé and English-language cover letter
  2. Completion of writing sample in response to provided French-language prompt
  3. Interview and possible timed writing sample
