Job Description

We are opening our Toronto office and are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to help us sharpen our brand identity and increase our brand awareness in the North American market, our fastest growing region worldwide (>100% growth YOY).
You will become the first member of the Toronto Marketing team. You will work closely with the GM North America and can always rely on our 30+ member marketing team in Europe.


Branding development: Fine tune the value proposition, personas, job to be done to fit with North America’s needs. Ensure that messages, visual elements and the tone of voice are adapted to the North American market and well understood internally. Develop a strong brand name and image and a communication plan accordingly

Guidelines: develop style guides, templates, and any other materials while keeping the company’s vision, mission, and objectives in mind; advise internal and external stakeholders on issues relevant to the brand.

Protector of the Brand: ensure that all team members provide high-quality content, monitor the delivery of the brand (visual, messaging and tone of voice) with the different internal stakeholders (content marketing, sales, customer..)


  • Create and implement a communication strategy (channels, messaging, set the budget…) for the North America market aligned with our global communication strategies.
  • Events & exhibition: define and organize brand awareness events (meetup, exhibitions or any kind of partnerships...) and optionally speak in public.
  • PR: implement public relations strategies, select and manage communications with external agencies in order to help them create PR market tools (press kit, press release, Q&A, digital newsroom).
  • E-reputation & Social media: Work closely with our global E-reputation & Social Media strategist to monitor, analyze, and localize content for our social media channels. Your main role is to make recommendations based on localization as well as execute them from content production to publishing.
  • Brand Partnerships: Find partners and opportunities with associations and groups aligned with SIB values in order to increase brand awareness (incubator, associations, federations...)
  • Customer knowledge: understand our North America customers, their needs, wants and aims and share with the global communication team to ensure the relevance of all messages.

KPIs / Desired Outcome

  • Brand Awareness (increase of Branded paid traffic, Branded organic traffic, Direct, Referral, Google Trends search for Sendinblue in North America)
  • PR Publications: 1 or 2 specific topics per month + the general messaging ongoing / Target: mainstream press, regional press, TV, radio, vertical business press.
  • Brand Impressions on North America market (web mentions and reputation): Support e-Reputation by handling and addressing bad reviews in coordination with the branding team: no negative review without response + weekly mention report and analyze.
  • Events: web mentions + number of attendees.
  • Customer Surveys / Interviews
  • Content Quality (Visual Asset and Tone of Voice consistency)
  • Social Media performances.

Preferred Experience

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in branding and communication, ideally in the B2B SaaS industry in North America
  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a strong hands-on mentalitiy
  • You are motivated to grow the brand and the team quickly
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt and experiment
  • Strong interest in new technologies
  • Active listener, curious, autonomous, you are ambitious and would like to actively participate in the SendinBlue growth
  • Native English (both verbal and written) is a requirement. Bilingual in French, Spanish or German is a plus - our team is very international 😊
